Gilles is a possible friend of the player, and the owner of a house in Saint-Clin du Fin-Fond. He can be found on his front porch between 07:00 and 12:00.
Speaking to him will allow the player to find any tools, utility items, or Unique car parts they may have misplaced. These items do not include regular car parts, food, drink, syrup, cannabis, or other respawning or replaceable consumable items.
After selecting the item they wish him to find, the player will need to wait until the following day, and return to his porch. The item they selected will be retrieved and placed at the base of his steps, and it can be freely taken.
